Canoeing the Ardèche for a day means renting a canoe on the river Ardèche from Vallon Pont d’Arc for an unforgettable day out with family or friends! Leave your vehicle in our shaded parking lot.

You’ll rent your own canoe or kayak, and after a full briefing on safety and how to use your boat, you’ll be off on the water.

For the l’aventure sportive + 32km course, meet at 8 am at our base. The route takes you under the mythical Pont d’Arc, through the nature reserve to Sauzes in the commune of St Martin d’Ardèche.

L’aventure sportive 24 km, meeting at 8:30 am at our base. You’ll leave by shuttle bus from Châmes and start directly at the Gorges de l’Ardèche nature reserve.

When you arrive, we’ll agree on your return time, so you can enjoy your canoe rental on the Ardèche for the day. You’ll have the day to paddle down the river and enjoy a swim, a picnic break or a nap, or just take in the magnificent scenery. You’ll be paddling for between 5 and 7 hours (average time), depending on your route through the Ardèche Gorges nature reserve.

Our team will be there to welcome you and take you back by bus at the end of the day, at a time agreed together between 4 and 5 p.m. at Sauzes in St Martin d’Ardèche, to return to La Petite Mer.
